Earning your private pilot certificate in a compressed timeframe has tremendous benefits. Practicing daily allows you to become a natural at piloting as quickly as possible because you are building motor skills and muscle memory. In our Accelerated Private Pilot Program we train daily, accomplishing the training in under two weeks, flying three times per day with ground instruction between each flight. Our program will be some of the most demanding training you will ever undergo.

The airlines and the military train this way for a reason…it works! Retention with accelerated training is far superior compared to training that is spread out over several months, and it saves you money. The “normal,” non-accelerated training track that people predominantly follow in America consists of two or three, 2-3 hour lessons per week.

This training schedule leads to the national average of approximately 75 hours required to get a private pilot certificate. When people dive into our accelerated flight training program, they are able to earn their certificate in far fewer hours, resulting in a significant financial savings.

Two-Week Private Pilot

In as few as 14 days you will have the skills necessary to become a private pilot! We will fly three times per day with ground instruction between each flight. In about 14 days, with your dedication, you will be ready to become a licensed private pilot. We have a pass-rate on our check rides in excess of 98%!

Syllabus Based Training

We have adopted the ASA Complete Private Pilot syllabus-based training program. The program covers everything involved with becoming a private pilot and preparing you for your check ride. With our program, we provide you all the materials you will need throughout the course.

Knowledge Test

The Airman Knowledge Test examines you on the concepts and information you will need to know for your training. It is a computerized exam that will need to be passed before you start your Accelerated Program.

Once we receive your deposit, we will provide you with an online-based ASA Ground School course that you will use to study for your written test. This course provides you with an e-book, over 10 hours of video presentations, and practice quizzes to prepare you for your written knowledge exam.

We have found this to be much more beneficial and practical than the standard ground schools that other flight schools use. We recommend having a grade of 85% or higher on your written exam to excel at this program. You know when you will be ready for your written exam when you can pass three practice tests with a score of 90% or above.

Medical Certificate

You must have a current Medical Certificate prior to starting the Accelerated Program. This physical must be conducted by an FAA-designated Airman Medical Examiner.

You will be asked to fill out an online FAA application and medical history form. The doctor will check your vision, hearing, balance, and nose and throat.

The doctor will determine that you do not have any mental or neurological problems such as alcoholism, epilepsy, psychosis, or a serious medical condition such as chronic heart disease or diabetes mellitus.

The doctor will also ensure that you are not taking medications such as controlled substances, psychiatric or psychotropic medications. We highly recommend Dr. Robert Thomas in Anchorage, Alaska. (907) 868-2961.

Student Pilot Certificate

You must have your physical Student Pilot Certificate in hand prior to starting the Accelerated Program. Once you complete your application it will take up to three (3) weeks to receive it in the mail. However, most students have received their card in about 7-10 days.

We can assist you with the application for your Student Pilot Certificate.
